The Change Your Clock Change Your Battery® program urges Americans to change the batteries in smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors when changing clock for Daylight Savings each Spring and Fall.
The Change Your Clock Change Your Battery® program continues to focus efforts on senior citizens and families with children. Senior citizens and children are at twice the risk of dying in a home fire. Sadly, approximately 1,000 children under the age of 10 die each year in house fires-and average of nearly three per day.
